Which Version Of Excel Do I Need?
You will need Excel 2010 or newer for Windows or Microsoft365 for Mac.
Please note: Microsoft is no longer updating Power Query for older versions of Excel, however, we do our best to create content suited to all versions of Excel.
Do I need to be an Excel expert before starting this course?
No.
We designed this course to be suitable for Excel users at the beginner to intermediate level. Power Query is a feature of Excel that will save you a ton of time, and we created this program to help make it accessible to more users, regardless of your current skill level.

There is a comments section at the bottom of each lesson page where you can ask questions. Our team of Excel experts here at Excel Campus will help answer your questions.
You will also be able to see questions (and answers) from other members of the program.
Our goal is to help you learn quickly and efficiently, and we encourage you to ask questions.
For Excel 2016 for Windows and later, and Microsoft 365 for Windows or Mac, Power Query is built into Excel and found on the Data tab. You do NOT need to download or install anything.
Do I need to know Power BI And Power Pivot Before starting this course?
No.
If you haven't used the Power tools yet, then this course will be a great introduction. This program focuses on Power Query for Excel, but you will also be able to apply the skills and techniques you learn to Power BI in the future.
Think of this program as your steppingstone to more advanced data analysis skills and tools.
